Since the L.A. area is huge and some of the tango places are wide spread it is check a rent-a-car before taking a taxi. Public transport for shorter distances is also an option but limited after midnight

all days There are Milongas and Practicas every day in New York. Most of the milongas are in Manhattan. To get there the metro is a good means of transport which even operates all night long. The downton area and the metro stations are safe (2005).
